1. We’ve seen Zeppy all over your Instagram and honestly he might be the real main character. What’s his full routine like? What’s he eating, what’s the cutest trick he does, and does he ever get to “work” with you on set days?

He absolutely is the main character on my Instagram.

Honestly, I have a hard time making Reels without him because he’s my little sidekick and follows me around the house all day.

His daily routine is pretty simple: eat, play, nap, sunbathe… repeat. I have this little outdoor patio, and he loves sitting out there people-watching. He’ll literally sit there forever just watching everyone walk by.

Ball is life for him. He probably has 20 tennis balls in his crate at any given time, and he’ll happily chase every single one. As for food… if I’m eating it, he thinks he should be eating it too.

The cutest trick he does is definitely high five. We’re working on “lay down,” but for some reason he just refuses to understand that one.

And unfortunately, no, he doesn’t come to work with me. He’s only 11 months old, and I think he’d cause absolute chaos on set.

2. Your Dominican Republic cruise looked so good. Give us the full recap…

It was honestly a trip of a lifetime.

My favorite excursion was waterfall hopping. We hiked up through the jungle to the very top, and then instead of hiking back down, you literally jump off rocks into crystal-clear pools, slide down natural waterfalls, and keep following the water all the way down the mountain.

It was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had, and it made me realize how much I love being outdoors and trying things I’d never normally do.

I’d absolutely do it again.

3. You’ve clearly got taste in terms of raves! What’s your favorite part?

I love anywhere I can shake my booty.

My favorite part is honestly just dancing with my friends, pulling everyone together, and having one of those nights you know you’re going to remember forever.

I also love discovering new DJs and music. Half of my playlists come from songs I randomly hear at festivals.

4. Competitive cheerleading is no joke…

Cheer taught me discipline more than anything.

The long practices, conditioning, injuries, and mental toughness all taught me that if you want results, you have to be willing to put in the work—even when you don’t feel like it.

That mindset has carried over into my career. I know that if I want to grow, I have to keep showing up consistently.

It also prepared me physically. I’ve basically been training as an athlete my entire life, and that foundation helps a lot with what I do now. There are definitely days where I’m in some pretty wild positions for hours, and I’m really thankful my body was conditioned long before I ever got into this industry.

I definitely didn’t expect cheerleading to prepare me for this career… but looking back, it makes perfect sense.

5. Top five best investments ever.

5. My Magic Wand. Let’s be honest… it’s a pretty great way to start the day.

4. My gym membership. It’s just as much for my mental health as it is my physical health.

3. My air fryer. I’m constantly on the go, and being able to throw food in there while I work has been a lifesaver.

2. My little phone light. It cost maybe $12, and I take it everywhere. It’s helped me create so much content over the last few years.

1. Zeppelin. Easy. He makes every single day better. He’s the best purchase I’ve ever made, and I don’t think anything will ever top that.

(I actually love ending on Zeppelin instead of starting with him.)

6. What’s the most unexpected compliment you’ve ever gotten?

I always smile when people tell me I’m genuine.

In my line of work, I think people sometimes expect someone completely different, so hearing that I come across as authentic really means a lot to me.

I also take a lot of pride when people call me hardworking. I work a lot behind the scenes, so knowing people notice that effort is a huge compliment.

7. Spotify, YouTube Music or Apple Music?

Definitely Spotify.

Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Emeline. It’s very confident, “bad bitch” energy, which is exactly the vibe I want before a shoot.

One lyric that always sticks with me is, “I don’t do the walk of shame, I strut.” That’s basically the energy I’m trying to channel whenever I’m getting ready.

8. Is there a trend you were early on before everyone else caught up?

I actually think your first instinct (“fitness”) isn’t quite strong enough for this question. I’d lean into your personality instead:

Honestly, I don’t know if I’m much of a trend follower. I’ve always kind of done my own thing.

If anything, I was probably ahead on treating fitness like part of my lifestyle instead of just something you do to lose weight. I’ve always been an athlete through competitive cheerleading, so training consistently has just been part of who I am for years.

Other than that, I usually just march to the beat of my own drum.

That answer feels much more authentic than trying to force a trend.

9. What’s the fastest way you can tell if someone’s going to be fun or a total dud?

Conversation.

If I’m asking all the questions and they never ask anything back, it’s usually a pretty good sign we’re not going to click.

I love people who are curious, who bounce the conversation back and forth, and who genuinely want to get to know you. Those are always my favorite people to be around.

10. Describe your current era in three words…

Rebuilding. Authentic. Evolving.

Rebuilding because I recently had a house fire and moved all the way across the country to Los Angeles, so it really feels like I’m building a brand-new life from the ground up.

Authentic because I’m putting so much focus into figuring out exactly who Cheerleader Kait is as a brand. I want to share more of my real life, connect with people on a deeper level, and build a genuine community.

Lastly, evolving because I’m thinking about the future more than ever. I absolutely love what I do, but I’m also planning for the next five to ten years. Whatever that next chapter looks like, I know the work for it starts today.
