Carina Roman is taking a seat behind the microphone. The stunning sophomore performer and hot commodity will be the very special guest on Inside the Industry with James Bartholet and co-hostess Emy Reyes this Wednesday, May 18th, from 8 to 9pm PST.
On the docket
The merry band of adult film stars will dig into the sizzling Carina Roman’s latest projects, headlined by the upcoming ‘ Official Halloween Parody ‘ for Zero Tolerance, along with her foray into the American adult film industry — a sophomore’s-eye view of a business that always looks different from the inside than it does from the audience. Listener calls are part of the format, so fans get to put their own questions to her live.
Prizes on the line
There is also a new contest this week: listeners can win a free autographed DVD copy of Wicked Pictures’ ‘ The Rocki Whore Picture Show ‘. On top of that, the winner of a free pair of tickets to the upcoming Exxxotica Miami, running May 20th to 22nd, will be announced on air.
And in the show’s regular weekly segment, Tony Batman from A! Entertainment News calls in from location with his update on his ongoing tour of the Gentlemens Clubs across the country.
Radio, the industry’s living room
Shows like Inside the Industry filled a particular niche in adult entertainment: they let performers be heard at length rather than glimpsed in passing. An hour of conversation, contests and call-ins did promotional work that no press release could — it gave listeners a personality to root for, not just a name on a box cover. For a rising performer, a guest slot was a chance to build the kind of recognition that carries performers from one project to the next, and gave upcoming releases a voice before they ever hit shelves.
The program is heard Wednesday nights from 8:00pm to 9:00pm PST and rebroadcast daily, on LA Talk Radio and insidetheindustry.net
