LOS ANGELES—Adult studio Elegant Angel has announced the debut of its newest showcase title, MILFwoman. The inaugural edition stars U.K. native Tanya Tate, crowned as the first-ever “MILFwoman.”
The series debut is also Tate’s first official showcase. Arriving from Britain in 2009, where she had also been a model and adult performer, she was technically a MILF when her U.S. career began. Since then, the petite star has perfected a proper-but-naughty persona for a loyal fanbase that loves her lusty, but ladylike demeanor.
“This was truly what they were asking for—so, they're gonna be so happy, so pleased,” Tate told AVN of reaction she thinks MILFwoman will receive from fans. “I'm so grateful that I had the chance to do it, and the fact that Elegant Angel are the ones that are doing it with me—they're an amazing company. They’re very kind to their performers and they're very respectful. They make us look amazing. They make sure everything's good and, you know, everything about the process of working with them is very good. I like being affiliated with good companies.”
Always somewhat selective, even sporadic, with the scenes she shoots, Tate confessed that it took some time for this project to come together. An experienced interviewer, she also hosts her own “Skinfluencer Success” podcast, among other pursuits that keep her busy.
“I've been their red carpet host, for Adult Empire, and they're a great team. I saw Daniel [Elegant Angel VP of Production Daniel Chura] at [2025] AVN, at the Elegant Angel booth, and it’s all part of the same company. So, Daniel wanted to talk to me about shooting for them,” she recalled. “I'm like, ‘I don't know if I'm ready. I don't know if I'm ready to come back and shoot.’ So, then another year passes by…”
“I was always kind of surprised that Elegant had never done a MILFwoman,” Chura mused in his reply, “and, to be honest, it just came to me when I was talking to Tanya about the project.”
“A couple years ago I approached Tanya,” he continued. “You know, Tanya's had a long history with our company. She's done our red carpet interviews for the last four or five years and she was in our booth. And I was like, ‘Hey, I'd really love to do a project with you,’ and she said she wasn't actively doing projects. I think she was taking a break or whatnot. Then, this year at AVN, she was like, ‘Hey Daniel, you remember you wanted to do a project?’ She's like, ‘I'm ready.’”
With the production green-lighted, the options were many. “I was told what Tanya Tate wants, Tanya Tate gets,” the actress laughed. One of the perks of being spotlighted, she said, was being able to handpick her director and scene partners.
Her choice to helm the title is Claudia Ross, whose editing career has evolved into her current role as an up-and-coming filmmaker, directing lush, female-forward features with performers like Octavia Red and Cherry Kiss.
“I looked at her other work and it was beautiful, and I thought, ‘Yeah she's the one.’ So, we just kind of went from there,” Tate said. For MILFwoman, the actress and director agreed on a glamorous, rich aesthetic, with luxurious lingerie, mansion interiors and green gardens for the outdoor scenes.
As is customary with a showcase, there’s an expectation for a “career first” to be included—something Tate said she gave some thought to before deciding on her first DP, which she performs with Vince Karter and Codey Steele.
Having worked with 2026 AVN Best Male Performer Karter previously, Tate knew the chemistry was there. She had also worked with Steele and likes him for his clean-cut good looks and solid performances. For a DP, the male performers also have to be in sync with each other and know how to position the scene, to get the best shots and keep everyone comfortable, so the right casting is important.
Even the confidence of a seasoned cougar can get rattled, it seems, especially during a first-ever on-screen DP. Tate said fans often aren’t aware of the "butterflies" that can go on behind the scenes when your goal is to pull off the performance with real enthusiasm. On a suggestion from Isiah Maxwell (who also appears in MILFwoman), she practiced before the DP scene with toys in the shower—and she’s saving that footage for fans with an upcoming OnlyFans release.
A lot goes into making a scene look authentic and hot and, that day, Tate said everything just clicked. “It's just amazing. Everything went perfect. Like everyone showed up from the crew to the makeup artist to the people dressing us to the catering, the PA. It was just such a great day, just such great energy. Everyone wanted to make this amazing scene—and I felt honored, you know.”
Other scenes in MILFwoman include an all-MILF threesome with Cory Chase and Lexi Luna. For this scene, Tate said she preferred to be part of a trio of mature women. “Oh my God. We blew it out the water. It was just beautiful. We had the lingerie, the Honey Birdette stuff, you know, that kind of stuff. We all had black lingerie with the stockings and garter belts, and it was just pure lust. It is art. We had toys. We had a nice double-ended dildo in there, and a lot of energy, high energy. A lot of chemistry.”
There’s also a threesome with Maxwell and Sophia Locke. “I never worked with her before,” Tate confessed. “But I said, ‘I can't wait for this.’ She's very hot. She loves women, she loves guys, she loves what she does and I was just like, 'She's the perfect person for the boy/girl/girl.'"
A fourth scene is the classic cougar concept, with Tate taking on younger man Axel Haze. “He's cute and he loves women,” she emphasized. “He loves MILFs.”
The series debut of MILFwoman comes amidst a late summer rollout of nine star-studded features from the studio, and the new title joins Elegant Angel’s roster of showcase features, including Slutwoman, Squirtwoman and Titwoman.
Chura explained that choosing the first MILFwoman was well-considered decision and that spotlighting Tate would result in something special for fans old and new.
“Part of it was that she really hasn't had an opportunity to showcase herself like this, especially to our fans,” he said. “For me, it isn't always, ‘Hey, get the biggest star.’ Sometimes it's ‘Hey, let's try and make the next biggest star,’ you know what I mean?
“It really helps a showcase when you have a big fan base, and we're introducing you so that your fan base is gonna love it. But then we're also gonna introduce you to other fans that might now start diving into your back catalog or watch some of your other content.
“That's the other reason why you won't see me, at least right now, doing showcases with girls that haven't been in the industry for very long,” Chura added. “I really think you have to earn that spot.”
MILFwoman will be available in mid-August, exclusively from Elegant Angel.
