Talent Agency Gets a ‘Glow’ Up as Hussie Rebrands With New CEO

LOS ANGELES—Glow Models, formerly Hussie Models, has launched under new CEO Alex Mack, working alongside agent Raven Robins. The agency’s new website has officially launched at GlowModels.com.

“Our focus is like deeper connection and real care for performers, not just collecting the bookings,” Mack told AVN. “I truly care. I get calls and my models tell me personal things, just one-on-one and you know, things happen. I want every model to be comfortable to talk to me. I'm your best friend. I'm in your corner, whatever it is—talk to me and we'll make it right. We'll manage whatever the hardship is.

“Because when I became an agent, the whole idea was, I would like to be the agent I'd want to have myself. That's all it is and, honestly, it's a lot of work. Just be honest and be nice to your clients and do your best—simple as that,” he added.

Mack, who started out as a talent agent at Hussie, has taken the reins with locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Florida and Arizona, and a roster of more than 70 performers. Originally from a corporate background with multiple degrees, Mack also is an adult performer/director who was named AVN Best Male Newcomer in 2021.

After working with Hussie for several years, Mack said he and his business partner reached a point “where I felt we simply couldn't grow or excel the way I knew we were capable of under the previous ownership. The only real solution that made sense was either separate or buy the agency myself and I felt bad about the idea of just leaving the models behind. So, I decided to stay and rebuild it into something people would actually be proud to be a part of.”

After purchasing the agency in April, and obtaining a new license and domain, Mack has been busy organizing and implementing new systems and policies based on his corporate background. The agency’s website “took a little while to build,” he said, but with its official launch, “now we're fully rolled out and, so far, the feedback is pretty good.”

Robins, now in the position of second agent at Glow, is also a former performer. “That's what's important,” Mack said. “She understands models better than almost any other agents possibly could, you know. She's still involved in production and is a director and production manager, and now she's an agent. Models can easily be honest with her and open up about certain things because she truly understands.”

Mack said he’s not interested in growing the agency too fast or too big, which might take attention away from the clients. His intention is to take a more collaborative, positive approach.

“One of the biggest differences,” he pointed out, is that “we don't lock models into any kind of restrictive contracts. Any model that we represent is free to leave at any time. We believe if someone is unhappy, they should be able to go find representation elsewhere without any kind of obstacles.

“There's a lot of benefits—it builds genuine trust. Models know they're not trapped, so that the relationship feels more collaborative, rather than controlling—so, people stay. People stay because they want to stay, so the energy is different. I truly believe in the correct structure of an agency, where the agency works for the clients rather than the other way around,” Mack said.
